AN open day at the Royston and District Museum "exceeded all expectations".
So said curator Carole Kaszak after the museum ran the day to coincide with National Archaeology Week.
Carole said: "Following on from last year's event this was even more ambitious and definitely exceeded all our expectations."
The event was organised by young archaeologist James Dilley, 13, with the support of other members of his family.
There were a number of activities which included metal detecting, building Stonehenge, a treasure trail and archaeological displays.
