Great Northern is warning of delays and cancellations following an incident near the railway between Royston and Cambridge.
Great Northern tweeted: “Due to the emergency services dealing with an incident near the railway between Royston and Cambridge all lines are blocked. #Cambridge,”
Passengers stranded on stationary trains also tweeted Great Northern asking if and when they can get off,
Great Northern has warned people that services are likely to be affected until 9pm.
“Following the emergency services dealing with an incident near the railway between Royston and Cambridge all lines have now reopened. “Train services running through these stations may still be cancelled or delayed, “ Great Northern added.
