POLICE have named a man who died in a road traffic collision in Standon on Monday.
He was Robin David Mathieson, 28, from Puckeridge, and was an officer in the Metropolitan Police.
He died following a collision on the A120 Kent's Lane in Standon just before 1am.
The car in which he was a passenger left the road and collided with a wall and a lamp post near to the junction with Station Road.
