POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a serious road accident involving a cyclist on Wednesday.
The accident took place at 6.21pm on the roundabout between the A1198 and the Old North Road, just outside of Royston.
A spokesman for Herts police said that the cyclist was in a serious but stable condition in hospital after being involved in a collision with a blue Renault Clio.
