A curry chef from Royston has put his restaurant on the map after showcasing his creations in India and Slovenia.
Chef Altaf Hussain, who works at Yuva Fine Fusion on Old North Street in Kneesworth, was a member of the seven-man International Taste of Britain Curry Festival team touring the world to present the best of British curry.
The master chef delegation, led by Michelin Star chef Dominic Chapman, laid on a feast of traditional English dishes and popular British curries at the food festival in Hyderabad for locals to sample, winning fans all over the city.
The 41-year-old said: “I have cooked in various competitions, but cooking British Curry in Hyderabad, India was a real challenge.
“We gave our diners the best of British Curry dishes such as Chicken Tikka Massala and Balti Dishes.”
