A BREAD company ran a healthy lunchbox workshop for pupils at Layston First School in Buntingford. Sarah Blunden and Emily Mees, senior school liaison officers from Kingsmill, took examples of different kinds of breads, crumpets and muffins to show pupils with the emphasis being on creating a balanced diet. Head teacher Jane Sherwood said: "We have been looking at healthy eating in class so the day fitted in perfectly. "The children had a table spread with different sandwich fillings, including cheeses, meats and salad. The sandwiches were enormous. "The children learned a lot and it has encouraged them to think about what they should eat.
