Fire services were scrambled


FIRE crews were called to reports of a mattress on fire in Melbourn yesterday.

Crews from Cambridge and Royston were called to the scene of the fire, in New Road, Melbourn, at 2pm yesterday, Sunday.

They found the mattress to be well alight, and allowed it to burn out under their control.
