THE names of two people killed in a crash on the A10 near Buntingford have today been confirmed.
Ronald Leader, 81, from Cheshunt and Keeley Thorpe, 29, from Biggleswade died after their cars collided just south of the junction with the A507 at 8.35pm on Monday.
Police believe that Mr Leader was travelling south on the A10 behind a lorry when his Volkswagen Polo crossed into the northbound carriageway colliding with Ms Thorpe's Fiat Punto.
Both were trapped in their vehicles and treated by paramedics on the roadside before being taken to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage where they both later died. The driver of the lorry was uninjured.
