FAMILIES enjoyed some crafty fun thanks to a local charity.
Home-Start Royston and South ran a Crafty Kidz event at the Coombes Community Centre in Royston which was attended by 88 people.
The children who took part in the workshop spent the day making masks and decorating mugs.
A Home-Start spokesman said: "It was great to see everyone enjoying themselves and we soon had decorated mugs, colourful masks, beautiful foam cards, along with stickered, painted children on display.
"We also had a visit from Anne of Hitchin Library who very kindly came along and did a story time and singing session with all the children."
The event was sponsored by Royston Tesco and Sunhill Day Nursery, who raised cash at a sponsored bounce held earlier this year.
