People were transported from Royston to Rio at this month’s craft fair in the Town Hall on Saturday.
To support voluntary arts week, organiser Laura Whitford got everyone in the carnival spirit at the fair, with children making colourful masks, and carnival music playing.
Laura said: “It was a huge success! Kim Flin from A Little Bit Of What You Fancy who runs our tearoom made special parrot cakes, Anne Walls from Papillon Playgroup had a mask-making stall for children and Icknield School’s Breakfast Club made us some amazing decorations.
“Thanks to the crafters for supporting the fair and shop and for getting in the carnival mood, and to everyone who came.”
