ROYSTON'S Evergreens club has celebrated its 32nd birthday - and is encouraging more of the town's OAPS to join.
Members of the club marked the birthday with a special meeting at the Masonic Hall in Royston.
Chairman Joan Inwood said: "We don't want anyone over-60 living in the area to be stuck in their homes.
"We've noticed quite a few pensioners are moving to Royston because their children live here, and we'd love to get them all involved in the club as well," she said.
The Evergreens meet on Wednesday's at the Masonic Hall, in Jepps Lane, Royston. For more details call Mrs Inwood on 01763 224 997.
