ROYSTON'S Evergreens club has celebrated its 32nd birthday - and is encouraging more of the town's OAPS to join.

Members of the club marked the birthday with a special meeting at the Masonic Hall in Royston.

Chairman Joan Inwood said: "We don't want anyone over-60 living in the area to be stuck in their homes.

"We've noticed quite a few pensioners are moving to Royston because their children live here, and we'd love to get them all involved in the club as well," she said.
