TRAFFIC was at a stand-still on the A10 between Royston and Reed on Saturday after a collision.

The incident happened at 2.10pm when a van travelling towards Royston had a puncture.

An elderly couple driving behind collided with the back of the van.

One person was taken by ambulance to Lister Hospital in Stevenage with slight injuries.

The road was re-opened at about 3pm.
