A mass knit-in at the Jolly Postie pub in Royston on Saturday evening saw 15 knitters and crocheters weave their way through seven hours of blanket-making all in aid of Children in Need.
The Blankathon, organised by Laura Whitford, who runs No. 3 Royston craft shop in Melbourn Street and the monthly craft fairs at Royston Town Hall, the group produced brightly coloured squares for a blanket to be raffled off for the challenge.
Raffle tickets are available if you’re quick from the Jolly Postie until 11pm tomorrow, Thursday, night and the winner will be announced on Friday.
