Citizens Advice North Hertfordshire is now able to offer longer appointments for some Royston clients, thanks to a donation from the town’s Rotary club.

The project aims to help clients with complex needs, who require a bit more time than the usual drop-in service allows for.

Advice service and projects manager Lecia Fraser said: “So far we have been seeing mainly benefit issues such as applications for Attendance Allowance or Personal Independence Payments. These forms are extremely complicated and time consuming to complete and this is not a service we can offer at our regular Royston drop-in sessions on a Monday and Wednesday morning. Being able to offer Royston clients this extra support is really useful and we are extremely grateful to the Royston Rotary for enabling us to do so.”

If you or someone you know would benefit from an appointment, come to one of the drop-in sessions on a Monday or Wednesday morning at the town hall or call 03444 111 444.
