A CHOIR is looking for a new conductor. The Orwell Singers, who have been together for about 12 years, are losing their conductor of three years, Philip Norman. Cheryl Bennett, South Cambridgeshire District Council arts development manager, said: "The choir's aim is to build up a wide repertoire of music, both sacred and secular, for enjoyment and performance. "We put on a concert every Christmas and we have other events during the year. "We are looking for someone to continue the traditions of the choir - someone who enjoys all kinds of music, who is good at encouraging people, has a sense of humour and would like a challenge." - If you would like more details call Katie Reid on 01223 207387 or e-mail katie.reid@talk21.com
