THE children from Chernobyl have been taking to the slopes as their visit to the UK draws to a close.
On Monday the 17 youngsters were at Bassingbourn Snowsports centre for a morning of activities.
They are returning to Belarus on Sunday, after another successful recuperative visit.
Nicola Dunklin, from the Friends of Chernobyl's Children charity, said: "The visit has been superb this year, and as ever and we'll all be very sad to wave goodbye."
Today (Thursday) the children are having tennis lessons with coach Matt Fellingham, from Royston tennis club, and tonight a special farewell concert takes place. This starts at 7pm at Melbourn Baptist church.
