FAMILY support charity Home-Start is appealing for help to replace three stolen beanbags.

The beanbags, which cost between £30 and £40 each, were taken from outside Royston Methodist Church in Queens Road, Royston.

Home-Start co-ordinator Wendy Gypps said: "I can't believe someone would stoop so low as to steal from a children's charity.

"We were bringing all the equipment back from our offices in Meldreth.

"One of our play leaders left them on the side of the road while she took something else into the church, and when she came back a couple of minutes later they were gone."

The charity, which is based in Meldreth, uses the beanbags in its children's reading area at the church.
