A CHARITY drive organised to raise money for Herts Air Ambulance teed off in Crow Country.

The golf day saw teams from across the county flock to Barkway Park Golf Club to compete in a day packed full of fun.

One of the service’s air ambulances also dropped in for a flying visit.

Pilot of the helicopter, Nicky Smith, said: “It’s not completely out there that the air ambulance is mainly run via charity donations and provides for the people of Hertfordshire.

“Raising the profile and getting publicity for the air ambulance with events like this is absolutley critical.”
