The Chain of Wild Flowers committee is still 'on a high' after holding a successful event on Saturday.
The afternoon of theatre and music saw guests treated to folk performances, play readings, fun and frolics.
Wild Ivy Theatre Company performed a unique re-enactment of Wind in the Willows, while visitors were also invited to decorate the wishing tree and watch a bee talk and hive demonstration at the Moor event.
Joint Venture – George and Jenny from Steeple Morden – entertained crowds before allowing readers, singers and poets to use their equipment.
Committee member Yvonne Chamberlain said: “I am still on a high. We had such a fulfilling day.
“We brought together different aspects of the arts, and had varied talented people performing. I do hope that this may open people’s eyes to poetry
“This project was the brainchild of Elizabeth Williams, who I personally thank. Without her inspiration, none of this would have happened.
“A very big ‘thank you’ to all who made this wonderful event possible.”
