ROYSTON'S longest running women's association came together to celebrate its 85th birthday. Members of the Women's Institute met at The Banyers Hotel for a special lunch, followed by birthday cake.

Member Lorna Bennett said: "It was a wonderful day and the Banyers put on a great spread.

"The Women's Institute has had its ups and downs over the years, but we're still going strong.
