A caravan was deliberately set on fire in Bassingbourn yesterday evening.
Fire crews from Gamlingay and Royston were called to the blaze in Spring Lane at around 6.10pm, they arrived to find the caravan well alight and the flames affecting the fascia boards of a bungalow.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel to extinguish the fire, and returned to their stations by 8.45pm.
