Bassingbourn Village College was a sea of purple as staff and students supported a fundraising event for cancer charities.

Staff and students swapped their usual college uniform for purple or sparkly clothes. Lunchtime attractions included a penalty shoot-out, BVC Bake-Off, tutor stalls in the hall and Sponge the Teacher – but the highlight was a visit from Justina and Julianne from Elysium Beauty who waxed the legs of a number of male teachers who had been nominated by pupils (above).
