Mrs Phillpot is raising money for the East Anglian Children’s Hospice (EACH), where she works as part of the Human Resources team.

She said: “I feel privileged to be a member of EACH staff and with this year being the 25th anniversary year of Milton Hospice, I really want to complete the London2Brighton challenge and achieve my target of £500.

“Every penny helps EACH; for example this amount could fund eight hours of specialist bereavement support or over 13 hours of music therapy.”

Madeleine Heath, EACH Cambridgeshire Fundraiser, said: “We admire everyone who takes on a challenge to help raise money for EACH, and in Gillian’s case it’s brilliant that she’s decided to take this on in her own time. It’s lovely to see EACH staff supporting the charity’s work outside of the office.”
