Nursery pupils became farmers for the day when they visited a dairy farm.
The children, who go to the Great Chishill Nursery School, visited Boydells Dairy Farm in Essex as part of their farm topic.
Nursery manager Anita Street said: “The children milked the cows, cuddled and bottle-fed the lambs, groomed a horse and cared for some new-born chicks.
“It was a wonderful day and was a wonderful treat for the children.”
The nursery was recently inspected by Ofsted, and received a report awarding them ‘good’ status in all areas. The inspector noted the children at the nursery were well-behaved and well-mannered.
