It was a thrilling night at a village college when West End dancers visited to put pupils through their paces.

Cast members from Michael Jackson musical Thriller Live visited Melbourn Village College before the Easter holidays to work with year nine and 10 dance students, who were taught how a dance used in the West End show.

Dance teacher Jill Douglas said: “The students were able to learn some very technical movement that is actually danced on stage on the West-End. It was great to see the students enjoying themselves in the workshop, some of the material definitely took them out of their comfort zone.”

Year ten student at the college, Darienne Chesham, added: “It was an amazingly different opportunity and definitely stretched our dance skills. It showed me how much hard work goes into putting on a West End production and I am looking forward to being able to see Thriller Live soon.”
