SHEPRETH Wildlife Park is helping to save the rainforest by pledging £2,000 to the World Land Trust.
The money will be used to expand an area of rainforest in Brazil, which is being protected as a haven for wildlife.
Rebecca Willers, animal collection manager at the wildlife park, said: "The keepers at Shepreth are passionate about species conservation and raising public awareness through educational talks.
"They have been enthused to be able to relate this to a project we, and other zoos, are directly involved in."
The donation comes as part of an initiative by the British and Irish Association of Zoo's and Aquariums (Biaza).
In total, £50,000 has been raised by 19 zoos and aquariums across the country.
