Members of Royston's Corvus Amateur Dramatic Society have painted some special rocks and hidden them around town, just waiting to be discovered.

The ‘golden egg’ rocks were designed in the spirit of their latest pantomime, Mother Goose – which is on later this month.

CADS’ Zoe Reader said: “We thought it would be lovely to join forces with Royston Rocks in spreading some hide and seek fun through the local area.”

The idea is that you can decorate a small rock or pebble and hide it around the area. On one side of the decorated stone there is the date it was painted and the details of Royston Rocks UK so that if you’re lucky enough to find a ‘golden egg’ rock, or any of the other you can post a photo of your find on Facebook, and then hide the rock again for someone else to find.

Performances of Mother Goose will be on January 19, 20, 26 and 27 at Meridian School in Garden Walk, tickets are available at cadsroyston.org.uk
