Our annual Citizens Advice North Hertfordshire fundraising quiz returns as a physical event – and as much as we like Zoom, quiz nights are always better face-to-face…!

So, get your team together and join us on Saturday, February 26 at our regular venue of St Paul’s Church Hall, Pixmore Road in Letchworth, starting at 7pm.

Teams of up to eight people are welcome, and we can also make up teams on the night. Tickets cost £8, there will be a cash bar and a raffle. Please bring your own snacks.

Email communications@nhdcab.org.uk to book your place.

It will be a night of fun and socialising – but COVID safe, we will adhere to the guidelines in place at the time.

Why is Citizens Advice North Herts fundraising?

If you’re not aware of us, we are an independent, trusted local charity. Our services are free for everyone in our community and our support is a lifeline to many who find themselves in difficult situations and hardship through no fault of their own.

We increasingly need to fundraise to keep our vital services going. COVID-19 has led to an increase in demand for our services. More people have been coming to us facing hardship, job losses, relationship breakdowns, and housing difficulties.

Our service is effective and high-quality, and last year we supported over 5,000 people with over 11,000 issues and achieved £1.6 million in financial outcomes for our clients.

Data shows that our service improves a client’s financial situation and leads to improved mental health and wellbeing, more secure housing and employment, and leads to people being better able to cope with day to day life.

We would love to see you at our quiz, but if you are unable to join us on the night you may like to donate raffle prizes to help us raise funds. And if you would like to help us continue our work, consider donating as a one-off or regularly.

We also have resources available to help you with fundraising efforts. https://www.northhertscab.org.uk/fundraise/
