Busy season in prospect at Meldreth gallery
LOCAL artists are flocking to exhibit at a new gallery. The Tavern gallery, situated in Meldreth High Street, was only opened by proprietor David Chappell in December but is already booked up with exhibitions for the next few months. Currently on show is
LOCAL artists are flocking to exhibit at a new gallery.
The Tavern gallery, situated in Meldreth High Street, was only opened by proprietor David Chappell in December but is already booked up with exhibitions for the next few months.
Currently on show is a selection of mixed media paintings from Val Pettifer, along with sculptures by Angie Hawkins.
And from March 4 a solo exhibition from George Meliniotis, entitled "Anglian Views", featuring oil and acrylic paintings, will go on show.

The gallery is open from 10am - 4pm, Thursday to Sunday, at 8 High Street, Meldreth. Admission is free.
