A BREWERY has chosen an award-winning design agency to re-brand its company. The Buntingford Brewery, in Therfield Road, Royston, has appointed Wooden House Design and Media, of Royston, to design a logo, stationary, labels, advertising and promotional material. Head brewer Steve Banfield said: "The business has been growing and we needed to establish our brand in a competitive market place. "We needed a strong corporate image, recognisable across the whole product range and Wooden House has achieved that for us." John Balodis, creative director at Wooden House Design and Media, said: "We wanted a traditional image that could compete in a modern context, but also a design solution for the sub-brands that allowed the individual beer labels to express their own characters in a fun and contemporary fashion. "The idea for the logo came out of a lot of research. We looked at past and present breweries and related industries and also visited the Royston Museum for inspiration. "We are very pleased with the design and are looking forward to working with the brewery," he added.
