AN AMATEUR boxer has denied two charges of racially aggravated harassment.
Ricky Crotty, 18, of Willowside Way, Royston, pleaded not guilty at a hearing at Luton Crown Court on Monday (December 8).
He also denied a charge of witness intimidation, and will stand trial for all three alleged offences at Cambridge Crown Court in February next year.
The harassment charges relate to the same alleged victim, and were said to have occurred on May 31 and June 8 this year.
It is then alleged that Crotty intimidated the same man on July 18 this year by threatening to burn down the restaurant where he worked.
The case was not given a fixed date but should be heard in the two-week period beginning February 9.
