WITH Stevenage taking their chances plus an under-par performance from Bassingbourn saw the Red Kites win this match by seven goals to one.
Stevenage started well and took the lead after 10 minutes and although both sides had chances in the next 20 minutes it was Stevenage who hit a purple patch with three goals in a five minute spell just before half time to go into the break four ahead.

The second half started in much the same manner as the first and on 50 minutes the away side increased there lead. Two more goals followed in the last 10 minutes for Stevenage and it was no more than a consolation when James Smith scored for Bassingbourn with the last kick of the match to make the score 7-1.
