BULBS will be springing up in Crow Country next year thanks to generous Roystonians.
Members of Royston in Bloom working party recently manned a stall on Royston Market asking for sponsorship for their spring bulbs, and were delighted with the results.
Angela Louch, chairman of Royston in Bloom, said: "Over 100 members of the public were happy to sponsor a bulbs and the amazing total of 175.55 was donated for the purchase of daffodil, tte-a-tte and narcissus bulbs.
Suggestions were also made for where the bulbs might be planted, and these will be considered in the next couple of weeks before planting begins.
Mrs Louch added: "Bulbs will be planted at several sites in the town over the first three weekends of November, weather permitting. Any volunteers wishing to help with this task would be welcome."
Anyone wishing to help can contact the In Bloom team via Royston town hall.
