A KEEN gardener celebrated her 100th birthday last weekend.
Connie Caton, who is a resident at Richard Cox House residential home in Royston, enjoyed a party with family and friends on her birthday last Sunday.
A spokesman for Richard Cox House said: "It was a lovely party. Connie had some relatives come in from out of town, and we had tea and cake."
Miss Caton, formerly of Denmark House, Royston, has been living at Richard Cox House since 2001.

The spokesman added: "She loves 'scottie' dogs, and used to enjoy doing her garden when she lived in Denmark House.
"Now she enjoys reading and watching television.
