TWENTY motor cycles took to the road on Sunday to raise awareness of a rare childhood cancer.
The weather did not stop the bikers completing the Royston to Hunstanton course, which was organised by Ian Biederman, owner of ART motorcycle centre in Kneesworth Street, Royston.
Mr Biederman said: "The weather really affected us, but we still had a really good day.
"We have raised £1,000 and we are still counting, which is fantastic."
The money raised at the ride will help to increase awareness and fund research into Wilms Tumour.
The disease, a type of kidney cancer mainly affected children under five, claimed the life of Mr Biederman's niece Molly.
Mr Biederman is hoping to organise another ride in the future.
