Bassingbourn Cadets earned their stripes by competing in the Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire cross country competition.
Despite being up against stiff competition across five age groups, all the cadets showed grit and determination to finish in the top half of their respective categories.
The four kilometre course at Hinchingbrooke School in Huntingdon contains long stretches of muddy woodland tracks and a boggy field.
Sergeant Nick Buckle said: “Every cadet from Bassingbourn showed great spirit, never giving up and giving it their very best.
“On every occasion cadets were sprinting to the line and they can hold their heads high.”
