A BARRIER could be erected at the Seth Ward Community Centre in Buntingford in a bid to helpo curb anti-social behaviour.
Police are keen for Buntingford Town Council to introduce a barrier because they say they cannot patrol the area constantly.
Town clerk Jill Jones said: "By putting a barrier there you're indicating it's a private car park.
"If youths want to get in there they could cut across the grass, but it would be classed as trespassing."
The town council's amenities committee has recommended to full council that a barrier should be erected.
Extra police presence has seen a reduction in problems.
