The B in the Park event at Barkway Recreation Ground today has been postponed due to poor weather.
The family festival was set to go ahead this afternoon but organisers the Barkway Preschool Committee have pulled the plug because of rain, with another downpour predicted for later today.
There was to be plenty going on including a camp fire, music, games, a fire engine visit and overnight camping – and organisers hope it will still go ahead this summer.
In a statement on Facebook released on Thursday, the group said: “It would appear the weather this weekend is not going to be kind to us so with a heavy heart that we announce B in the Park will not be going ahead as planned.
“The good news is that we are hopeful we can find another weekend before the schools are back to run the event.”
