Golfers will be clubbing together this summer to raise vital funds for Herts Air Ambulance at Barkway Park’s annual charity golf day.
The event, which will take place on Friday, September 4 at Barkway Park Golf Club, Nuthampstead Road, is the club’s sixth golf day in support of the charity, having so far raised a total of £53,497 for the ambulance service.
Event organizer, Sue Akers, said: “Barkway Park has chosen Herts Air Ambulance as our benefiting charity for the past five years, as we feel that regardless of who you are, anyone may need the vital service at some point in their lives.”
Golfers are invited to register a team of four players and each will receive a coffee and bacon roll, as well as a buffet lunch.
Participants will also have the chance to bid in the auction, with prizes kindly donated by local businesses.
