Young sporting hopefuls had the chance to try out lots of different sports at workshops held by Royston Rugby Club and Cokenach Cricket Club.

For the more artistically inclined, there was pottery painting with Buntingford craft makers Something-To-Treasure and a face painting tent, as well as a DanceMatters workshop and Royston Ukulele Orchestra entertained the crowd.

Barkway Preschool Manager Karen Evans said: “B in the Park is a great community event that brings families together. The proceeds go to support the preschool which has highly dedicated and enthusiastic staff, great outside space, lovely facilities, in a beautiful village setting.”
