THE Time Bank in Royston has raised £300 for Cancer Research. The charity, which helps others in the community, held a pampering party at the Coombes Community Centre in Burns Road. About 20 people enjoyed a range of treatments, including massages and manicures. Members of Time Bank and other volunteers carried out the treatments in return for a small donation. Money was also raised from a raffle. The event was organised in the run-up to the charity's cafe opening, which will take place next month at the community centre. Linda Bullock, a Time Bank co-ordinator, said: "The event was organised to promote Time Bank and everyone really enjoyed getting pampered.
