THE B1042 reopened this lunch time after an accident which left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.
The incident happened just before 8am this morning near the junction of the B1042 and Larkins Road, near Croydon, and saw a car and motorcycle collide.
The rider of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries, and was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.
Police have closed the B1042 in both directions from the A1198 roundabout, and traffic was redirected through Shingay-cum-Wendy and the Mordens.

However, the incident has now been cleared and the road reopened at 12.46pm.
