ARTISTS have been preparing for an exhibition of their work next week.

The annual Royston Arts Society's exhibition will be taking place in Royston Town Hall on Saturday, July 15 and Sunday, July 16 (10am-5pm).

The exhibition usually attracts more than 100 works from members covering all aspects of painting - and the public have the opportunity to judge the best three pictures on display.

Our picture show society chairman Shirley Streater with member Stan Keen and his work during the society's meeting at Royston Town Hall on Tuesday.

Mrs Streater said: "The exhibition attracts a lot of attention and is of an extremely high standard."

The exhibition is sponsored by Johnson Matthey.
