DINERS at a Royston restaurant can feast their eyes on a new art exhibition.
Artist Sam Caddick has put together a series of original water colours, entitled Simply Siena, which are on display in Palazzo Italian restaurant, in Kneesworth Street.
She said: "My work is always evolving, and this exhibition combines my passion for water colours Chinese brush and interiors."
Stuart Smith from Palazzo, told how the exhibition came about. He said: "During last year's Royston arts festival we were approached by Sam and some of her friends to put on an exhibition in the restaurant.
"When it was taken down we were all quite sad because the walls looked bare, so we were delighted when Sam contacted us again this year.
"We are always happy to support the local community."
Sam has lived in Royston for the last ten years, and teaches art at North Hertfordshire College, where she covers a wide range of subjects, including calligraphy and ceramics.
"Art is a very individual experience and everyone can be inspired," she said.
