Melbourn Community Hub hosted its latest successful art exhibition, featuring photographer David Hone’s work.
The hub offers gallery space to local artists every month to exhibit and sell paintings or photography, and – at an open evening last week – the public were invited to browse David’s collection over a glass of wine.
Hub director Jeannie Seers said: “The hub gallery has proved extremely popular for artists and visitors. The space is large and bright and of course the artists’ work is seen by many.”
Other events and activities are held at the hub in High Street, including afternoon tea available every Saturday from February 3, and there will be a special Mothering Sunday lunch and an atmospheric performance of M.R. James’ ghost stories on Sunday, March 18.
