A HOSPICE is set to benefit from the latest exhibition at a Royston art gallery.

Gabrielle Whitcombe and Alexandra Wilton-Cox have opened their show, at Curwens gallery in the High Street, yesterday (Wednesday July 15), and plan to make a donation to the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth.

Mrs Wilton-Cox said: "I have always admired and supported the hospice movement, and Gabrielle has generously agreed to join me in donating 10 per cent of all sales to the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth."

The pair use contrasting styles in their work, and the exhibition features a wide variety of different paintings.

Mrs Wilton-Cox added: "My inspiration comes from creation and nature, such as the Swiss Alps, or the Niagara Falls. I love colours too, they really lift my spirit."

The exhibition at Curwens gallery runs for eight weeks.
