There is a fundraising coffee and cake morning coming up in Arrington this weekend in aid of two cancer causes at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
Joanne Smith is throwing the fundraiser in aid of Haematologist Dr George Follows’ Lukaemia and Lymphoma Research fund, and the new chemotheraphy and haematology E10 ward after she was a diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in 2012.
All funds will be donated to the Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust and will then be split between the causes which helped get Joanne on the road to recovery.
All are invited along for refreshments and homemade sweet treats on Saturday between 10am and 12pm at Arrington Village Hall, which is behind the Hardwicke Arms.
