MEDIEVAL England came to life at Greneway School in Royston on Monday.
Steve Parish and Jo Ellis, from Past Alive, who specialise in bringing the Middle Ages and Civil War eras back to life, visited Year 7 pupils, dressed in authentic medieval costumes.
They encouraged the children to experience food, weapons, and drama from the historic period.
The day culminated in an archery display.
Year 8 pupils also enjoyed a medieval day on Tuesday with Steve and Jo re-enacting the English Civil War.
