Apple MacBook and precious jewellery stolen during Royston burglaries

Thieves targeted two houses in the same Royston street on Saturday, causing £500 worth of damage to one property and seizing precious gold jewellery and technology from another.

The burglaries occurred in Garden Walk and in the first incident, offenders forced their way in to a back door, and took an Apple MacBook and gold jewellery – including a ring and heart-shaped pendant – between about 5pm and 8.30pm.

In the second burglary, offenders smashed through a back door causing about £500 worth of damage. It is not believed that anything was stolen during the break-in which occurred between 5.30pm and 6.30pm.

Anyone with information in relation to either burglary is asked to contact police on 101.
