An appeal has been made after plans to build a wind farm were turned down.
As reported in The Crow in February, the scheme to build five turbines at Highfield Farm near Litlington was rejected by South Cambridgeshire district council’s planning committee.
However, applicants Highfield Wind Energy have now submitted an appeal, which will be heard by the planning inspectorate in the next couple of months.
The wind farm was opposed by Royston town council and Litlington parish council, while villagers fought a high-profile campaign against its construction.
